	The Commitment of HelpTranslation The Translator's Commitment The Commitment of HelpTranslation We are offering you the opportunity to join an international network of translators and to be a part of the translators’ “community”. We provide you with an access to a continuous volume of translation work. You will be able to work according to your own schedule. All that you need to do is to let us know about your availability, the number of words that you wish to translate, your areas of specialization, etc. A set rate is the basis for paying the translators in our network after they have applied and been accepted. Regular review of the quality of each translator's work is performed and after the respective evaluations, a score is recorded. Translators who achieve higher scores will be given the opportunity to accept more translation requests from our clients. Back to Top The Translator's Commitment Translators who wish to be included in our network of translators will complete a translation test as part of their application process. Translators will pay extreme attention to the quality of their work. Translators must strictly observe the deadlines established for each translation request. Translators must be responsive regarding all translation requests. For instance, the translator must notify us as soon as possible if a translation request does not correspond to his or her area of expertise. Translators shall complete all translations without resorting to the services of a subcontracting translator or the use of translation software. Translators are encouraged to promote our website among their friends who are also translators. Translators agree to maintain the confidentiality of the information that we send to them. Translators guarantee the validity of all the information submitted in the information questionnaire at the time of their application, particularly all information that relates to academic degrees, level of experience, area of specialization, address and information required for invoicing. As one of our translators, you agree to observe the laws of your country and that you are authorized to complete translations on behalf of a company established under French law. You also agree to forfeit any claim to copyrights on the translated texts. All translators must notify us immediately if the content of a document that we send to you seems inappropriate, which includes obscenity, deceptive or fraudulent information, illegal intentions, comments reflecting or promoting racism, slander or harassment, content violating the rights of a third party, or content that intends to commit any criminal activity, or which results in any violation of officially established law, discriminatory comments, or comments inciting hatred or violence, the sale or purchase of items and/or products that are strictly prohibited by French law, content that would undermine the protection of minors and place them in any type of danger, or any form of communication that would undermine the protection of human dignity, etc. Back to Top
